On Wednesday 21st January 2026, Pink Flamingo Cinema x Miya Miya Film Club present: أنياب (Anyab / Fangs, Egypt, 1981) directed by Mohamed Shebl.

Anyab follows a young couple whose car breaks down on the way to a party; seeking refuge, they enter the mansion of a very familiar Count and from there, the film explodes into a neon-lit fever dream of singing vampires, glam-rock ghouls, slapstick horror, and irresistible 80s kitsch. It’s camp, it’s chaotic, it’s historic, and it’s a cornerstone of Arab cult cinema.

Pink Flamingo celebrates cinema that bites back, films that push against the edges of taste, tradition, and expectation. Together we’re thrilled to bring this legendary slice of Arab pop-horror to our joint home at the Slipway Marrickville at Mothership Studios for one night only.
