On Friday October 22nd at @mothership.marrickville, Miya Miya Film Club and Samira El Chami present Frontiers of Dreams and Fears (Lebanon/Palestine, 2001) directed by Mai Masri.

Samira El Chami is a Lebanese artist whose work moves across film, sound, and performance, engaging with memory, landscape, and the conditions that shape how stories are carried.

On Friday 13th November, @mothership.marrickville, Miya Miya Film Club turns two!

This November marks our 2nd birthday, and we want to celebrate YOU; the cinephiles, filmmakers, artists, activists, food lovers, and friends who have come together to build this community. Over the past two years, Miya Miya has become more than a film club; it’s a space for gathering, learning, exchanging, and celebrating stories that move us and connect us across borders.
